1. Booking of a Tour

Once you decide to proceed with a tour reservation, the following payment structure shall apply:

  • 20% of the total tour cost is required as an advance payment to confirm the booking.
  • 100% payment for air/train tickets (if required) must be paid at the time of booking.
  • Upon receipt of the advance, Travexel Events and Travel will initiate bookings and arrangements.
  • A reservation status confirmation will be shared once arrangements are initiated.
  • An additional 30% of the tour cost is payable after reservation confirmation.
  • The remaining 50% balance must be paid 45 days prior to the commencement of the tour.
Special Payment Conditions
  • Peak Season (20 December to 05 January): 100% payment is required in advance.
  • Special Luxury Train Journeys: 25% at booking and remaining 75% payable 75 days prior to departure.
  • Tour prices are subject to foreign exchange fluctuations and may be adjusted accordingly.

2. Amendment to a Booked Tour

Amendments to confirmed bookings are not encouraged. However, if required, we will attempt to accommodate changes subject to availability. Any changes may attract administrative charges and additional costs as imposed by service providers.

3. Payment for a Tour

3.1 Online Payments via Payment Gateway

Online payments made through our website are secure and encrypted. We do not store your card or banking details. All transactions are processed through authorized payment gateways and are subject to bank authorization.

3.2 Payment through Bank Transfer

Payments can also be made via direct bank transfer. Bank details will be shared by our sales representative upon request.

4. Cancellation of a Booked Tour

All cancellations must be communicated in writing. The date of receipt of such communication will be treated as the effective date of cancellation.

Cancellation Charges (Tour Cost Only)
  • 90 days or more prior to arrival: 50% refund of deposited tour cost
  • Between 90 and 60 days prior to arrival: 30% refund of deposited tour cost
  • Between 60 and 45 days prior to arrival: 20% refund of deposited tour cost
  • Within 45 days prior to arrival: No refund
Special Cancellations
  • Flight Tickets: Generally non-refundable. Changes subject to airline rules.
  • Wildlife Safaris: Non-refundable. Date change treated as cancellation.

5. Miscellaneous Terms and Conditions

  • No refund once hotel bookings are confirmed.
  • Any increase in tariffs, taxes, or fuel charges must be paid prior to departure.
  • Service charges are non-refundable.
  • Room allotment is subject to availability and hotel discretion.

6. Other Terms and Conditions

Travexel Events and Travel acts solely as a booking agent for third-party service providers. All services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Liability is limited to the scope of facilitation.

Force Majeure

Travexel Events and Travel shall not be liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond its control, including natural disasters, epidemics, weather conditions, strikes, or government restrictions.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Indian courts.
